paclogo.jpgWebinar Replay: "Assessing the SAP BusinessObjects Services Market," Hosted by PAC
Presenters: Peter Russo, PAC's SAP Services Research Program Lead, and Jon Reed, President, and PAC Fellow

For the visitors who were unable to attend the PAC webinar on SAP Business Objects market opportunities, or who want to download the slide deck, the slides and the audio for the webinar are now available. As a PAC Fellow, I worked with PAC to compile the data and analysis we presented in this webinar. Our goal for this research was to take a fair-minded look at the real market opportunities for SAP Business Objects in 2009 and what skills and products will have the greatest emphasis. The concerns SAP customers have raised about SAP Business Objects that impact spending decisions were also addressed.

Here's some more details from PAC on the webinar: "Business intelligence remains a high priority for many organizations, despite the current economic downturn, and customers of SAP's BI systems are no exception.

SAP's BI strategy took a major step forward through its $6.8bn acquisition of France's Business Objects in October 2007, and many users are still sifting through the Business Objects product line based on their internal priorities. They are also assessing the current roadmap for the portfolio, as well as the potential for integration and pricing for these solutions. There are clear opportunities for IT services providers that understand their role in the SAP BO market and address a key area of expertise by solution, industry and regional coverage.

Hosted by Peter Russo, PAC's SAP Services Research Program Lead, and Jon Reed from & PAC Fellow, this edition of "PAC on SAP" examines the opportunities around the Business Objects-related consulting & SI market within the SAP user base, including analysis of the key solutions, SAP BI roadmap, consulting & SI opportunities and market sizing of this crucial segment that looks to outperform overall SAP consulting services and project services in total through 2013."
