SAP Books and SAP Book Reviews from JonERP.com

For the JonERP.com SAP bookstore, we don't just list SAP books, we evaluate them. We also offer our own SAP titles, staring with Jon's own SAP Consultant Handbook and the well-received Ultimate SAP Pricing Guide, which helps readers and project teams get up to speed on SAP Pricing.

Here you can view the most popular SAP books currently available on Amazon.com, broken down into SAP Bestsellers on Amazon.com, and NetWeaver bestsellers on Amazon.com. In many cases, Jon has commented on the books' merits. Also check out Jon's "Recommended SAP Books" section of books by authors he knows personally.
"Sams Teach Yourself SAP in 24 Hours" Print E-mail
by George Anderson and Danielle Signorile Larocca

"Sams Teach Yourself SAP in 24 Hours, Second Edition is the perfect tool for learning one of the most sophisticated enterprise solutions available today. Designed to being with the basics, you will become acquainted with the entire SAP system, from navigation to creating your own reports."

JR's Take: "This is one of the most consistently bestselling books in the SAP marketplace, and it's been that way for a number of years. What I will say is that your success with this book depends on a number of factors.

My feeling about this book is that it's not such a great option for those who are intent upon becoming hard core SAP consultants. There are better ways to get that kind of info, and for free, such as the podcasts on this site. But this book is great for someone who works for a company that is running on SAP and you're about to get pulled on the user team. If you are trying to understand, on a basic user level, how to navigate and get up to speed on SAP quickly, then this might be the best book you could buy, and the price is right."
Book Description: "You'll cover:
Implementation tools and methodologies
NetWeaver
ECC 5.0
Designing Screens and menus
Reporting
Integration with Microsoft Office
And more...
Written by leading SAP consultants with over 20 years of combined experience, this easy-to-understand tutorial is ideal for getting up and running with SAP quickly and efficiently. "

"I've kept up with your JonERP.com site for a long time and your articles via SearchSAP.com and elsewhere. I just realized a few months ago that you were also the author of the first SAP Consulting book that I read when I decided to take the leap from working at a Utility company to becoming an SAP Consultant. The SAP Consultant Handbook is a staple for any SAP consultant, new or experienced. I just wanted to thank you for the quality work."
