Jon Reed photo Jon Reed is an independent SAP analyst and SAP Mentor who blogs, Tweets, and podcasts on SAP market trends. He is the driving force behind JonERP.com, an interactive web site that features Jon's SAP Career Blog and his podcasts for SAP professionals.

In his client work, Jon helps companies in the SAP ecosystem increase their community presence and market traction by developing a winning strategy for social networking, inbound lead generation, and SAP talent management. Custom SAP market research and analysis is also provided.

Jon has been publishing SAP career and market analysis for almost 15 years, and he is the author of the SAP Consultant Handbook,  Jon has been named a "PAC Fellow" to formalize his contributions to PAC's SAP Services Research Program, and he is a frequent blogger on PAC's Feeding the SAP Ecosystem blog. Jon has also served as the "Ask the Expert" on SAP careers for SearchSAP.com since 2002.

Bio update: recently, Jon was recognized as a Top Contributor for the SAP Community Network 2008-2009 in the Business Process Expert Category.

Jon has a simple vision for JonERP.com: serve the SAP community by providing an in-depth view into the human side of SAP implementations and the skills needed for SAP career success.

Throughout the industry's ebbs and flows, thousands of SAP professionals have tracked the SAP market through Jon's commentary. Jon focuses on providing SAP professionals with honest, straight-shooting analysis on how SAP market trends are impacting SAP career choices. Between JonERP.com and his podcasts on SAP's SCN Community, Jon has now issued more than 70 podcasts on the SAP consulting market and skills trends - all available to members of JonERP.com.

Before launching JonERP.com, Jon served as the Founding Editor and Vice President of SAPtips, a leading publication on SAP implementation "best practices" authored by SAP consultants.

Jon is also the author of Resumes from Hell, an illustrated "how-not to" guide through the worst resumes ever made. He is working on a sequel to Resumes from Hell entitled Resumes from Heaven, and a companion volume to the SAP Consultant Handbook is also in the works.
