"Jon, let me congratulate you on building a site which exclusively caters to SAP skills and careers and answers a lot of doubts young and senior SAP consultants have about what skills to have and get trained on."

What’s the Latest News on is now entering its second year!

Thanks to all of of you who have been a part of this site, posed questions and comments, and helped to make this site a resource for the SAP community. Great things are ahead! I’m committed to building this site into the best place on the web to make sense of SAP career trends, and I’m thankful to your continued readership and interest and excellent questions.

I’d like to make a few announcements:

1. In a couple of days, we will be converting the "SAP Career Blog" to a different wordpress plug-in. The look and feel of the blog will be very similiar. However, the RSS feeds for both the comments and the entries will be changing. The next time you see a new "Career Blog" entry, that means that the blog has been converted. It should be done by the end of the week, at that point, I’ll make sure all the RSS feeds are updates with the new information. The podcast feeds will remain the same. (You have to register with to get access to the podcast feeds).

2. You can expect much more of the same in the year to come: plenty of great podcasts guests, plenty of new articles on SAP skills trends that you can’t find anywhere else. There should be more webinars and maybe some videos soon too! I’m hoping to include more posts from guest contributors, if you are interested, let me know. I have a lot of neat content rating the hottest SAP skills that I hope to add to the site soon. In the meantime, there are a couple more places you can find me:

3. If you are active on LinkedIn, and we haven’t linked up yet, please do so by connecting to my LinkedIn profile.

4. I’m starting a new "SAP skills microblog" on This won’t be a typical Twitter blog in that I’m only planning on posting "on topic" posts about the things I’m learning and thinking about pertaining to SAP skills and technology trends. I plan on posting a few times a day. We’re working on way to share those posts live on this site, but if you have a Twitter account, and you’d like to receive those there, then definitely follow me on Twitter. I’m excited about sharing these ideas as I uncover them and look forward to using Twitter in a slightly different way.

In the coming days, I will have more updates for you, and I will be at TechEd Las Vegas, so feel free to contact me if you are interested in meeting up there!

Thanks for your help making a success…it would not be so without your help and loyal visits.

"Jon, you are definitely spot on with your analysis of the SAP market. I've been using your websites for over five years now. Instead of buying all the SAP books, I use your stuff to catch up with what's new in the ever-increasing SAP market." - Mark Reader Feedback

"I've kept up with your site for a long time and your articles via and elsewhere. I just realized a few months ago that you were also the author of the first SAP Consulting book that I read when I decided to take the leap from working at a Utility company to becoming an SAP Consultant. The SAP Consultant Handbook is a staple for any SAP consultant, new or experienced. I just wanted to thank you for the quality work."

- J. Michael Peace, Independent SAP Consultant -
